I wasn't expecting too much from this either, however was hyped enough to watch it asap because of the cast, the great deal of likeable characters, and was really curious how they can be put together. Didn't think it was possible in any ways, that still keeps up the story and not be ridiculous and unbalanced. I was wrong. Incredibly wrong.
We were in a good mood with my friends, discussing the theories, the background story, characters, etc. before the movie began. Afterwards it started? Not a single word was said, all of us were completely sucked in from the first moment till the very end of the credits - not new, nor spoiler, you must wait till the very end as you learnt through the years.
As I said, the Russo brothers made an excellent job of creating this blockbuster. There are many hilarious moments and phrases, perfectly matching and timed, the characters came together are amazing, with the chemistry and importance put on a level that each of them required, simply amazing job -however a few jokes were maybe a little too much, that's why I gave 9, however I'd give 9.9 if it was possible. Thanos is incredibly well made, he's the perfect villain the MCU have been long waiting for. The humour and the seriousness are perfectly balanced. Unfortunately cannot say more without spoiling the experience, YOU MUST WATCH IT!
Spoiler, which is my theory. Read after you are over the movie. br> Since AntMan is not in the movie - at least in a visible way - I assume, that Thanos' gauntlet gets broken in the end after he did what he did, as he is inside ruining it in a micro size. Therefore, what Strange mentioned that there is only 1 possible solution to defeat Thanos, is I think, that he must be believed in his victory, in order to ever remove his gauntlet by feeling safe and done, and that is when the AntMan comes and gets it to make everything back in balance by somehow stealing it and going back in time by the help of the remaining heroes, probably Wong included. Mark my words - which is maybe a hope, that it will not stay as it is in the end.
PS: Mark Ruffalo spoiled more than my review like 9-10 months ago, which many believed was a marketing strategy, well, it certainly was not.
